Okay is has been a while since I have updated you on the kids and how they are doing. So here is what is new:

Ephriam: Has been doing really well in school. We have gotten several notes home of things that he has been doing. He even made progress on his IEP from our reevaluation in Feb. to the beginning of March. Also his private OT and I talked a couple weeks ago about where Ephriam is headed, what all we need to work on, and how long that he is going to be in therapy. She said that if he continues to progress at the rate that he is that we will only being doing OT for another 6 months to a year. I am very excited to hear that even if he doesn’t improve that fast. I am so proud of how far he has come in the year and a half. His speech is coming a long but is going to take much longer then his  OT. His speech therapist thinks that he has speech apraxia. This is a f ixable speech disorder but it is going to take him a long time to over come it. Ephriam is working  hard at it and is doing well, we just need to get his brain to tell his mouth how to move. It is fun to see him improve and move forward.

Kendra: She is definately the princess of the house. She runs the show for sure. She is very smart. She knows her ABC’s, reconizes her letters and her name, knows her colors, shapes, and can count to 18. All at the ripe age of 2 and a half years old. She loves to torture Mommy with play games, mostly Candyland. She can’t wait to go to school or to have a birthday. She loves going to church and playing with the other kids. She cries all the way home “my church”. She likes to do everything Mommy is doing and wants to help out with everything.  She is getting sweeter by the minute. We do have are days when nap time or bed time can’t come soon enough.

Upcoming Events: Sunday we are going to have our first Family Night. Mommy is going to post pictures to her blog and hopefully Daddy will have some good video that he post to his blog. Saturday we are going to do an egg hunt at Grandma DeMonge’s. We hope that we will be able to do it outside because last year it was inside and not a whole lot of fun. Easter sunday we have invited all of our family to participate in Family Night. It will be great to have all our cousins’ see what Mommy and Daddy are up to. Then it will be Mommy’s Birthday and before you know it we will be headed to Gatlinburg to see Uncle Mike and Aunt Star.  Hopefully we can get back into the groove of things and be posting more. For now we think that is it.
