That is what Kendra thinks that she is. She has no fear of doing much of ANYTHING. Today she thought it would be a good idea to jump off the front porch, however didn’t land on her feet. She landed mostly on her right arm. At first her mom just thought that she was over reacting and being the drama queen she is about getting hurt. It wasn’t till much later when Daddy came home that she pointed out the real problem. Down where by her wrist hurt and was swollen and she was progressively not using her right arm for much of anything. She even asked mommy to feed her lunch. Mommy and Daddy decided that she needed to go to the ER. When Mommy and her arrived she was trying to use her arm to hold her cup but she couldn’t do it and needed Mommy’s help. She told the lady at the desk that she jumped off the front porch and it was an accident. It was very cute but she still hurt. So we go back to the ER room and they check her vital signs and the doctor sees her right away. He felt her wrist and told her us that it felt like there was a small fracture. We went to x-ray and before we were back in the room the doctor was waiting for us with a print out of her x-ray (technology totally rocks).  Sure enough she broke both bones in her right arm. It is what is called a buckle facture, or basically her bones smooshed together causing them to push out in one area. So they splinted her arm and told me to call Orthopedics tomorrow morning to have a cast put on later this week that she will probably be in for 2-3 weeks.  I didn’t take pictures of her splint yet because I have been busy fluffing pillows for her to make her comfortable (but with being hurt and not having more then a 20 minute nap she wasn’t very pretty), making dinner, and getting ready to meet a friend for coffee. However, tomorrow I hope that she is more comfortable and willing to pose for the camera for a few so that you can see how she looks with her big boo boo bandaid. I will keep you posted on her progress and will hope to have pictures of her cast when it is set for you.

Oh my. At least it is her arm, so she can still dance. Don’t worry, Grandpa will help make sure the little queen is treated well.
